I first came to massage for help with pain resulting from my own automobile accident injury. Experiencing the healing benefits of massage therapy eventually led me to Brenneke School of Massage to become a therapist and later to teach at Bellevue Massage School. I currently teach at Northwest Academy of the Healing Arts helping new therapists hone their clinical skills. After being in practice several years I started searching for something to assist clients not only in the physical healing process but also to ease anxiety. Anxiety plays a big part in the healing process. I had a personal yoga practice that I began for the physical postures but soon came to appreciate the many other attributes of practicing yoga. I wanted to share this. After many years of self study I eventually attended a 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher training at Bellevue College and eventually continuing on to receive specialized training in trauma informed yoga. I am honored to now teach the Business of Yoga at Bellevue College and to sit on the advisory board for the new yoga teacher training program. All of these training's and experiences have come together to inspire the business I now have.
When not working I enjoy spending time with friends and family including the best dog ever, camping, hiking or sailing.
